FOOD ... it is never enough =D...

1) My favourite food
My favourite food is definitely ... SPAGHETTI.  I would eat it every day but only if it's cooked by my mother because her recipe is really delicious. She makes a special sauce with minced meat and some other tasty ingredients for example ketchup, spices...

2) My favourite Czech food
My favourite Czech food is for example ... FRUIT DUMPLINGS. I can't say that it the most favourite for  me but it's one of them. When I was younger my grandmother cooked it very often so I started to like it! I think that this recipe is really difficult but some can see it otherwise.

RECIPE:
*2 cups all-purpose flour
*3/4 cups skim milk (lukewarm)
*4 tablespoons sugar
*1 self-rising yeast packet
*1 egg
*1 teaspoon salt
*2 tablespoons vegetable oil
*16 pieces of halved fruit of your choice

"In a small bowl, pour yeast packet into lukewarm milk and mix well. Add in sugar and 2 tablespoons of the flour and mix. Cover bowl and place in a 150-degree heated oven for about 10 minutes. Mixture should begin to bubble.
Mix remaining flour, egg, salt, and oil. Now add the bubbly mixture and mix until dough forms. Cover dough and place back into the heated oven for 1 hour, until dough rises and doubles in size.
Once dough has risen, cut off tablespoon-sized portions of dough. Spread each dough ball out, place fruit filling of choice, wrap fruit with dough, and pinch all sides to seal completely. Steam prepared dumplings for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Top with melted butter and sweetened cocoa powder, cottage cheese mixture (mix cottage cheese with rum, raisins, and lemon rind) or a sweetened fruit sauce of your choice. "

vocabulary: yeast - droždí, kvasinky
                    lukewarm - vlažné
                    dough - těsto
sweetened cocoa powder - sladký kakaový prášek
cottage cheese mixture - tvarohová směs

3) My favourite drink
... ORANGE, APPLE JUICE, MINERAL WATER

4) Typical Czech cuisine and table manners
Czech meal always started with soup. The most popular are - potato and garlic soup, chicken soup with noodles or beef soup with dumplings.
The main meal consists of meat and attachments. Popular meat has always been chicken, pork, beef, usually served with some kind of sauce. Roast beef with tomato and dill sauce and sirloin are also very popular.

5) I would never eat and drink
I'd never eat ... RICE PUDDING. The taste is really horrible for  me and a hate it since childhood.
I'd never drink ... I can't find anything what I'd never drink...

And finally I would invite my MUM, DAD AND BROTHER for dinner because we usually don't eat the dinner togehter so it'll be nice change. =)))...

You should know about...

I think that everybody should know something about ... EQUESTRIAN =D. It's the most interesting sport for me. The feeling when you are in coexistence with some horse is really exciting! I would write such a long text about it but just some points:
  • There are many types of this sport (Show jumping, Dressage, The race, Cross - country and many others... )
  • If you want to race with your horse officialy, you should pass an Basic exam of rider's training (ZZVJ).
  • You must be a member of some riding club.

New year's resolution

My New year's resolution... Ok, this contribution will be very short because I've never made it before and I think it's not so important to do it. But now, I'm going to choose some of them.
In the year 2013 I'm going to reduce stress and think more positive, more exercise in the gym , eat healthier food and read more books.
That's all! ;))...
